On November 23, 2013, Alamo Volleyball Association will participate in a city-wide service project sponsored by Community Bible Church. It will run from 8am-12:30pm. It will be for many worthy causes and be a good team building time for the girls while giving back to their community. This is a ­voluntary event for players, coaches and family members.

Here’s how it works:
· Meet at Community Bible Church (2477 North Loop 1604 East San Antonio, TX 78232) at 7:45am on Saturday, Nov. 23rd.
· They will organize everyone and bus us to the sites. ( or drive and follow the bus)
· We’ll have a good time working for a few hours and they’ll bus us back.
Here are the projects that each age group will be working on:
· 12’s, 13’s & 14’s – Children’s Hunger Fund 4940 Eisenhauer 146 78218
· 15’s & 16’s – San Antonio Food Bank 5200 West Old Hwy 90 78227
· 17’s – Respite Care of San Antonio (Some painting so wear clothes that get dirty) 1303 Tampico St 78207
- 18’s – SA Furniture Bank 6315 Rittiman Rd 78218

Check-in will be from 8am-8:15am inside the main sanctuary. Even if you choose to drive to the project, we would encourage you to come to CBC and join us, as we will all pray together and then leave for our respective projects. Please be aware that if you do not check-in by 8:15am, you reserved spot will be opened up for those who have not pre-registered and show up that morning.
